I went to Jia Yi's house at 8.10am to put on make up and do my hair. Auntie Jesslyn was really sweet la. She was like helping the three of us do make up, seemingly Jie Ning, Jia Yun and me. Then we all had to eat some breakfast and do our hair. We all though it was very spiky. My hair was just half up since it's not really long so there wasn't a need to tie everything up. Then we got a spritz of glitter spray each. Haha! I really couldn't take the smell. I started sneezing instantly. This is the 1st time I've dolled out so much for the competition and the first time I've gone for a competition with my new class. Well, it was okay though we screwed cha cha way too much. That's why we didn't get into the finals I think. Clarisse seems to be rather nervous. Cuz I missed a step and she freaked out and made me redo the step again. Supposingly, we can't do that since it will be obvious that there's a mistake and points will be deducted. I can't believe how blur we were. For all 4 events, we didn't know that we're supposed to go up before someone comes and yell our number. Which was either Ariel or Cosmas. And it's embarrassing when someone comes and get you to join in the queue. And congrats to Jia Yi and Jie Ning for dancing so well today! They got 2nd for 2 events! I also got 7th and 4th. Which is bad! D: Luckily, Clarisse's costume could match my shade of red. Here's 3 videos which were supposed to be pictures but my mum took wrongly. I did my best for jive even though my knee still hurts. If we can't get into cha cha finals, I still wanted to get into the jive finals or it will be so humilating. So I was like exerting all I can. Only to find that Clarisse went out of timing at the end where we had to repeat. I thought she knew how to link the last part to the start of the beggining of the dance again. But people get nervous so no choice...:/ And I remember for cha cha when I was halfway through, my blouse strap came off so I had to adjust it or else it will fall off. Then I didn't do a few steps and we were like freaking out on the dance floor again. This is the 1st time for me to attend a competition and make so many mistakes! Hahaha! I also remember that Cosmas kept asking me and Clarisse whether we're tag number 10 for like 3 times? Until I wanted to yell at him. Like how can anyone be THAT forgetful? There was even another time when he was standing in front of me and then shouting Clarisse's name and tag number. Then we were like it's us but he still continued shouting until I snapped my fingers in front of him. How blur is that? Then he was like, I tot you guys are 10? I was so annoyed! After everything, we went to Macdonald's for lunch. I didn't even bother to change, I just started eating immediately cuz I was really hungry. I had to rush back for tuition and I ended up half an hour l8 cuz there was a traffic jam on the way back...I didn't even have time to change. I walked into class still wearing my costume and everyone was like: What the? Why are you dressed like that? Then teacher meow saw me and she was like: "Wa, Ashley, what happened? Why are you dressed so skimpily?" Then I had I went to a dance competitions and all the costumes are like that...then she said: "So did you win anything? I bet you definitely won the sexiest costume right?" I was so bewildered!
